Kusama parachain Auctions

The first two Polkadot Slots are going to Acala and Moonbeam. We think the Polkadot Slot Auctions are a great investment opportunity, but it is not easy or obvious in which project to invest. Overall it is not an easy investment decision since there are opportunity costs, because your invested DOT are locked up for 96 weeks. At the end of the lease period you will get your investment back and additionally your rewards in the native token of course.

Summary

The Crypto Market is in a wild bull run now, and the Polkadot Ecosystem is finally onboarding projects to their chain.

The crowdloan campaigns on the sister network Kusama were a great success. 15 Kusama Parachain Slots were already auctioned, some with already crazy return on investment for their contributors. Moonriver made the best results for their investors by far with a reward of around $4000 per contributed KSM, which are around 20x already.

Moonbeam, the sister network on the Polkadot Chain, is about to win the second Parachain Slot Auction. It is not likely that Moonbeam is doing a similar immediate ROI since the USD raised was around 30 times more than for Moonriver, and so the reward per contribution smaller, but we still expect a great return for this great project.
