Crypto Update

It's time for another round of crypto news. This week, PEPE and his crew are again making waves with their frog-themed token on Ethereum. Coingecko reports it's approaching a whopping $1B market cap and has generated a mind-boggling 4,000% return in just 17 days! No wonder meme tokens are once again leading trading activity on decentralized exchanges. Do not get burned if you decide to join the meme coin party.

But that's not all, frens. The Solana Saga mobile phone has officially launched, and it's a game-changer for crypto enthusiasts. This little device promises to do it all, performing all crypto and web 3.0 activities on a handheld device instead of a computer. It even has a secure seed vault to store your private keys away from Android in a secure environment. With 512 GB of storage, two back camera lenses, a 6.67-inch OLED display, and a fingerprint scanner, it's a crypto lover's dream. Oh, and did we mention that it's running on Android 13? Solana Mobile has also partnered with OSOM to integrate the Solana Mobile Stack. Get ready to revolutionize your crypto game!

And last but not least, check out this detailed thread on positioning yourself for both Starknet and Argent X drop by NDIDI_GRAM on Twitter. Time to level up your crypto knowledge!

Travel Update

Last weekend was quite an eventful one! First, elections are happening in Thailand, and to ensure people vote with a clear mind, the government imposed a two-weekend ban on alcohol sales. It's pretty interesting that weed shops and street stands are still allowed to operate, so people can vote stoned but not drunk. Nonetheless, I guess that's how the government is taking measures to ensure fair elections.

On a brighter note, we also attended a local football match between Pattaya Dolphins United and Sisaket United. It was a fantastic experience to watch a game in the local league and be surrounded by passionate fans. We got a glimpse into Thai culture that I wouldn't have otherwise experienced.

On Sunday, Maja and I participated in the WingsForLife run in Pattaya. We didn't break any records. It was challenging due to the heat (around 35 degrees) and hilly terrain, but it was a great experience, and I'm happy we took part. Weirdo.Rocks will definitely have a team next year as well, so you will be welcome to join and run for a good cause.

Oh, I do have a new series recommendation - Severance.

The series follows the story of an employee named Mark, played by Adam Scott, at a company specializing in optimizing productivity through highly innovative means. The plot quickly becomes enthralling as Mark begins to question the company's true purpose and its leaders' intentions.

The series has been generally praised for its excellent performances, clever writing, and unique plotline. The show's creator, Dan Erickson, masterfully blends drama, science fiction, and horror elements to create a captivating and thought-provoking experience.

I recommend it if you are a fan of dystopian sci-fi dramas. One season is out for now, and the second is in production.

Tool of the week

This week we switched our main travel payment card from N26 to Curve.

The Curve is a debit card that links to all your other cards and allows you to spend in any currency without fees, making it an excellent option for digital nomads who want to streamline their finances and minimize transaction costs.

You can check our review of the card if you are looking to optimize your wallet and reduce the number of cards.

Something to think about

"Water never complains but always pushes back. Always.

Drop a boulder in front of a stream, and the water will simply flow around it, taking whatever opening the landscape will give or—when nothing is offered—patiently building up its resources until it rises to a height where a new gap is found.

Flow like water. Never complain, but always push back."

and

"We learn nothing by being right.”

Productivity Tips and Tricks

⏱️ Time-boxing ⏱️

Time-boxing is an effective productivity technique that breaks down your workday into specific time slots or blocks. By allocating a fixed amount of time for each task, you can better manage your workload and increase productivity in several ways.

Time-boxing helps you prioritize your tasks and focus on the most important ones. By setting a time limit for each task, you can ensure that you spend the right amount of time on each task and avoid wasting time on low-priority or unimportant tasks.

It also helps you avoid procrastination and stay on track. When you have a fixed amount of time for each task, you are more likely to stay focused and avoid distractions, as you know you have a deadline to meet.

Time-boxing also helps you work more efficiently and effectively by encouraging you to take regular breaks.
